Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Tuesday stated that political parties like National Congress Party, National People’s Party and Lok Janshakti Party are not “factored” in this election at all.
Political opponents whether they are NCP, LJP and NPP have only one option that is to spread confusion, lies and misinformation, he added.

MoS Rajeev Chandrasekhar arrived today at Suruhoto under Zunheboto district to campaign for 33rd Suruhoto Assembly Constituency, BJP candidate H. Khehovi at Tizu Island, Suruhoto.
“These issues coming up this election are desperate measures by some political parties to distract the voters from the most important issues that is peace and development,” he stated.
He exuded full confidence that the BJP-NDPP alliance will come back to power and form the government.
“I expect almost 50 seats out of 60 to come to this alliance at the very minimum,” added Chandrasekhar.
He maintained that the most important factor in this election is the strong alliance between the NDPP-BJP, the last 5 years work that has been done by the double engine government and the next five years of true transformation of Nagaland that this alliance government will create with the partnership and support of Prime Minister government in Delhi.

He also highlighted that their development ideology is to give opportunities and prosperity to every citizen Naga citizen regardless of whether he/she is in a remote district or in a developed district. He assured that every citizen will get opportunities to progress, to create prosperity and to build a better future.
Further, he asserted that he is here to convey the message to the voters the importance of the “double engine” combination of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi and the BJP-NDPP government in Nagaland.
