Noklak District Handloom and Handicraft Council (NDHHC) had its brand Noklak Masterpieces launched by Superintendent of Police Noklak, Dr Pritpal Kaur Batra, IPS on 23 September.
The council has introduced this initiative in accordance with the motto ‘Fighting drugs and unemployment with livelihood’.
The president NDHHC, S Khumo said that this brand will provide opportunities for the local artisans to promote their works and earn a sustainable income. SP Pritpal Kaur, while launching the brand, encouraged the youths to practice entrepreneurship to sustain their livelihood instead of doing drugs.
