The declaration cum kick off program for NDPP candidate Tosovi Tase, Ward number 14 was held at Ungma Kiti, opposite Hotel Cimorb, old ministers hill, Kohima.
Star campaigner Kudecho Khamo highlighted the necesitation of ULB in order to fulfill the aspirations that cannot be attained by the government: To have someone to reach the government with public grievances, a common person that will carry the voice of the people and the ward.
“Tase is a selfless person who even stood in the first line to help people during the COVID 19,” said Khamo about the candidate, adding that the people present at the gathering are making the right choice by supporting him.
Though the present government is an opposition less government, Khamo acknowledged that NDPP is taking a leading role in governing and assured that if Tase wins with NDPP ticket, he will have more voice and support of the government. “The way we help and support each other, as a community be it different village or community, rich or poor, we are all common in one thing that is “one colony” and we should make our ward anti-social elements free and bring good community. So, to do that we need a humble leader,” stated Khamo.
Stating that the election is for the grassroots, Khamo expressed that the citizens should select someone who understands the situation of the colony and represent the people.
On the recent Lok Sabha elections, Khamo said, “NDPP did not lose in the last election because of the candidate or the party but because of the resentment of the events happening in the neighbouring states attacking something very sacred to us, that is our religion. And because of that people had voted the other party to show their resentment.” He also requested the people to support the government and work for a better community.
