The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Wokha Region hosted a consultative meeting cum Advent-Christmas celebration today at Hammock Resort, New Wokha Village. The event was attended by Dr. Chumben Murry, Former Minister of Nagaland and Senior Vice President & Coordinator of NDPP, and Mhathung Yanthan, MLA, Advisor to the Government of Nagaland’s Agriculture Department & Legislature In-Charge, NDPP Wokha Region.
In his speech, Mhathung Yanthan greeted the party members and emphasized the significance of unity and service. He reminded the gathering of the importance of their collective efforts in advancing the party’s vision and urged everyone to continue working hard towards fulfilling the promises made to the people of Nagaland.
Dr. Chumben Murry, in his brief address, extended warm Advent and Christmas greetings to all party members and their families. He encouraged the leaders and workers to continue being agents of positive change, noting that while the party had achieved much, there was always room for improvement. He reiterated the importance of commitment and unity within the party to overcome challenges and build a prosperous future for Nagaland.

Short speeches were also delivered by Khozamo Lotha, Chairman of WTC, and other party leaders.
The program was chaired by Amos Ovung, President, Youth Organisation, Wokha, an invocation by Limathung Ovung, President of Agri & Allied NDPP, followed by a warm welcome note from John Ezung, President, NDPP Wokha Region. Bible reading was conducted by Lily Kikon, President of the NDPP Women’s Organization.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mhonchan Tungoe, Secretary of NDPP Wokha Region.
