Speaking to Nagaland Tribune, Lunghgem Angh expressed his happiness on being coronated and further added that he looked forward to seeing that the public and the government play their responsibilities well. He acknowledged all the well-wishers even as he takes up this important role for the years ahead.

Although the government, civil societies and NGOs play a vital role in governance and decision making, the Angh too is integral to such processes.

With changing times, coronations in the present day are blessed upon and carried out by a pastor or reverend unlike coronations in pre-Christian times.

The coronation was attended by C L John, Advisor Land Resources, W Wangyuh, Former MP (Lok Sabha) along with village chiefs, NGOs, reverends, pastors and people from neighbouring villager.
