PM SHRI Government Middle School New Ministers’ Hill Kohima organize its Annual Cultural Day Celebration on October 17.

The event was graced by the Kivishe Pucho, Chairman SMC, who spoke on the theme ‘Our Culture, Our Identity’. He encouraged students on the importance of cultural preservation and the continuation of one’s mother tongue, citing the danger of many dialects on the verge of extinction in the present generation.

The welcome address was delivered by Head Teacher Atsei-ü Mechülho. The event witnesses students showcasing diverse cultural heritage, talent and unity. The day featured a colorful array of performances including traditional dances, folklores, folksongs and cultural show, stated a press release.

The event was attended by New Ministers’ Hill Panchayat, Youth Organisation and parents.
