NHIDCL executed Rs 19309 crore value of work in 2022-23; increases revenue by 42.61%

New Delhi: Distribution of dividends increases from Rs 34.00 crore in FY 2020-21 to Rs 67.47 crore in FY 2022-23

National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) has executed Rs 19,309 crore value of work in 2022-23. This is an impressive surge from value of work executed in 2021-22 that stood at Rs 14,953.

The remarkable performance by NHIDCL was announced at its Annual General Meeting held on 22nd December 2023 where its financial results were declared, the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways informed.

Demonstrating a robust increase of 42.61%, the revenue has increased from Rs 332.53 crore in FY 2021-22 to Rs 474.22 crore in FY 2022-23.

Further, profit after tax (PAT) reflects a commendable improvement of 98.34%, advancing from Rs 113.29 crore in FY 2021-22 to Rs 224.70 crore in FY 2022-23. Concurrently, the earning per share (EPS) displayed an outstanding growth from Rs 11.00 in FY 2021-22 to ₹ 21.82 in FY 2022-23.

The Ministry also informed that distribution of dividends has also increased from Rs 34.00 crore in FY 2020-21 to Rs 67.47 crore in FY 2022-23, i.e Rs 6.55 per share having a face value of Rs 10. It stated that this dividend reflects NHIDCL’s commitment to providing value to its shareholders and underscores its dedication to prudent financial management, positioning the company on a trajectory of enduring success in the development of Roads and Infrastructure with a special emphasis on the North East Region, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir.
