The State Election Commission has said that NIL nomination has been received in certain Municipalities in the Districts of Mon, Longleng, Noklak, Tuensang, and Kiphire during the period for filing nomination for the elections to Urban Local Bodies that concluded on 11th June 2024.

Therefore, in partial modification of the Commission’s Notification of even number dated 31st May 2024 and consequent upon the aforementioned Municipalities having received NIL nomination, the undersigned, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 31(1) and (3) of the Nagaland Municipal Act 2023, has issued a revised list of Election Observers deployed / redeployed to the Municipalities, the SEC notified.
