A two-day certificate course on Securities Markets was organised at Oriental College, Kohima by National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM). The workshop was conducted on 4th and 5th March 2024 at the College’s Auditorium with Chenio Lotha from Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as the resource person.

The objectives of the initiative are to create awareness of personal finance framework, investing and understanding the precautions and risk involve while investing in securities markets and to empower the students for facing interview in financial services industry.

SEBI is the regulator of the securities markets in India and NISM is its educational division that was founded in 2006. The institute provides wide range of courses including currency derivatives certification, investment advisor, merchant banking certification.
