The Niuland District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sara S Jamir, DC and Vice chairman DPDB, Niuland, at the DC’s Conference Hall, Niuland on January 17, informed DIPR.

The house reviewed the enrolment status of Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) from different departments in the district and found that nearly 100 percent was achieved in every department. SDO (C) and in-charge of the District Sports Council presented the status of the newly completed Multi Discipline Sports Stadium at Niuland.

During the meeting, PHE Department presented the departmental activities. While acknowledging the works of the department in the district, the DC enquired whether the concern officers are efficiently implementing bore well installation in the villages and urged the concerned department to create public awareness camp in adopting community bore well/ community water reservoir.
