The Nagaland Judo Association (NJA) will be participating in the Northeast Japan Caravan 2025–26, scheduled to be held on March 7 and 8 at the State Academy Hall Kohima, where the association will perform a Judo demonstration as part of the programme.
The NJA will be represented by a contingent comprising 14 judokas, including eight male and six female participants, from the NJA headquarters Mokokchung.

The association’s vice president Rongsentoshi Jamir, general secretary Somnath Chakraborty, and members Alemyanger Jamir and Tsaliese Rongsen, and technical instructor Suradip Basak will oversee and support the judokas during the programme.
The Nagaland Judo Association informed that through its participation in the event, it aims to promote the sport of Judo and also provide its students with exposure and an opportunity to demonstrate their skills before the public.
