Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Sharingain Longkumer, graced the Valedictory function of the Indian Youth Parliament on 17th September 2024 held in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Addressing the young leaders and delivering a thought-provoking speech on the theme “Empowering the next generation”, Speaker highlighted the vital role that young people play in shaping the future of our nation and how their empowerment is essential for sustainable progress. He also emphasised the need for them to stay grounded, cultivate a strong sense of righteousness and demonstrate obedience in their personal and professional lives.

Longkumer further encouraged the students to hold steadfast to moral values, foster integrity and be willing to make self-sacrifices for the greater good. He also underscored that these qualities are essential for shaping not only their own future but also the future of the nation.
