NMOPS delegation arrives in Nagaland, meets Advisor Moatoshi Longkumer

Kohima: The delegation requested the advisor to take cognizance of the issue as ‘it is the old age social income security of employees after retirement’.

A delegation of the National Movement for Old Pension Scheme (NMOPS) arrived in Nagaland and met Moatoshi Longkumer, Labour Advisor with regard to the restoration of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) for Nagaland’s New Pension Scheme (NPS) employees.

A press release from NMOPS informed that the delegation, under the leadership of Dr. Manjeet Singh Patel, requested the advisor to take cognizance of the issue as ‘it is the old age social income security of employees after retirement’.

The delegation also met with the Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees Association (CANSSEA) in Kohima on 16 March to join hands with them on a national-level.

CANSSEA President, Dr. Ilang and his team assured to fight jointly against NPS, it added.

Dr. Vijay Tiwari and Dr. Vishnu Pandey were also part of the delegation.
