The NNC FGN Khiamniungan Region held a welcoming program for two merger on May 23 at the residence of Midan Peyu at Noklak. The two merger groups were the cadres of Akato Chophy led GPRN and Isak Sumi led GPRN under the Khiamniungan Region, informed a press release.
“The Federal Government warmly welcomed and appreciated their homecoming to the mainstream during this hour of confusion,” stated the press release. Various officials of the NNC and FGN spoke during the program and the merger groups also reiterated their stand to uphold the Yehzabo and serve the true cause of the Naga Nation.
