The Naga National Council (NNC) of Lotha Region which is the NNC Parent Body under Yillow Humtsoe, and the Naga National Council under Gen Thinoselie M Keyho (Retd) have unanimously decided to jointly work under one umbrella for the Naga political issue. This decision was made on 4th September 2024 at the Tourist Lodge in Wokha.

During the meeting, it was resolved that the groups would work together for the common goal and stated that their efforts will be guided by the principles of the 1929 Simon Commission, the 16th May 1951 plebiscite and the 14th August 1947 Naga Independence Declaration for Naga sovereignty.

The groups also appealed to others groups who supports sovereignty to join them for the cause of Naga National Rights.
