The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has raised concern over the delay in registration of coaching institutes despited the implementation of guidelines for registration and regulation of coaching centers by the State government.
“Despite, the past two months since the implementation of guidelines, it is disheartening to observe that no coaching institute has registered till date,” mentioned the Union in a press release issued on February 12.
While appreciating the State Government and concerned Department for initiating the implementation for registration and regulation of coaching centers in the state on November 26, 2025, the ANCSU expressed concerns over the delay in registration of coaching institutes.

The union reminded that as per the notified guidelines, all the coaching institutes are to apply for registration within a period of three months, from the date of implementation of guidelines.
It appealed the Higher and Technical Education Department and the concerned District Administrations to hasten the registration process and streamline the coaching institutes. Further, it also calles the attention of all the coaching institutes to register at the earliest and operate strictly in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.
“The Union shall remain vigilant on this issue and will not allow any unregistered coaching institute to operate after the registration period is expired,” cautioned the ANCSU.
