Kudecho Khamo, Advisor, CAWD & Taxes exhorted the officers and staff of Department of Civil Administration Works Division saying that the quality of work should not be compromised. He was speaking at an introductory programme held at the CAWD Conference hall, Kohima on Monday.
The Advisor said that he was appointed for the position with a vision and a commitment to serve the people and the State. He mentioned that CAWD is also the face of the State therefore, the vision for all round development and ‘state of excellence’ should be achieved. He said that the proposed projects and targets should be need-based and not on meritocracy based for the benefit of the people.

Khamo also assured to serve the people with sincerity and equality without ignoring the backward regions in the State. He requested the officers and staff to cooperate and give their entire support to achieve the given targets. He also assured and requested all the officers to work as a team and a family stating that he was confident to work with very dynamic, efficient and proactive engineer, ready to handle any situation to improve the department.

A short speech was also delivered by Joint Commissioner, L. Jamithung Lotha and vote of thanks by A.E CAWD Tuensang, Er. Elo Khiam. The programme was chaired by EE, CAWD Er. Sungtiba Aier.
