In continuation to its earlier Order declaring the Nagaland Assembly Secretariat Complex and its adjoining areas within an aerial distance of one kilometre radius as “Temporary Red Zone”, the Superintendent of Police, Kohima has declared the Assembly Complex and its adjoining areas within an aerial distance of one km radius as “NO DRONE ZONE” with effect from 5:00 pm on 28th August 2024 (Wednesday) to 9:00 pm on 29th August 2024 (Thursday).

As per provision under Rule 49 of Drone Rules 2021, violation of Rule 22 and Rule 27 of Drone Rules 2021, are cognizable and non-compoundable, the SP added.
