In accordance with the Chenmoho Public Resolution, and subsequent reaffirmation on May 14, 2024, not to participate in any central and state election in response to the delay in settling the offer of the Government of India for the creation of Frontier Nagaland Territory (FNT), and the State Government’s lack of response to the Ministry of Home Affairs’ (MHA) draft highlights, the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) has once again reminded that as per the public resolution, there will be no participation in the upcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULB) election in the state.

“The Chenmoho Resolution stands as a testament to our collective resolve and commitment to addressing these crucial issues. We urge all stakeholders to recognize the gravity of this situation and the necessity for meaningful engagement and resolution,” stated the ENPO media cell.
Appreciate the public’s understanding and support as it navigate these challenges, the ENPO has also empowered the respective tribal councils to make the public understand the gravity of the situation and honor the Chenmoho Resolution.
