The Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS has permitted the Nagaland Olympic Association to hold Cross-Country Race which is scheduled to take place on March 23, starting at 4:00 AM. The race willl conclude at 10:00 AM beginning from the IG Stadium with roundabout at Hotel Vivor and finishing back at IG Stadium.
According to DIPR, the race will be conducted under the following terms and conditions:
- Permit is granted for the specified date only.
- Normal flow of traffic should not be hampered.

- The organizers should ensure to provide a clean environment.
- The organizers should ensure that there are no law and order problems and any untoward incidents.
In this regard, public are also informed that all vehicular movement will be temporarily diverted to New Secretariat Complex via Tsakou Cha (way to New High Court Complex Junction) Kohima during the specified hours to ensure safe and smooth conduct of the race.
