Noklak celebrates first Night Carnival

One of Nagaland’s youngest district celebrated its first kind of Night Carnival this year. The Miraculum Society Nagaland in collaboration with the High School B sector Noklak town for the first time in the district organised three days long night carnival in the high school B area, Noklak town.

Local entrepreneurs, organisation, groups and individuals were allowed to open their stalls in the open space, where the carnival gave the opportunity for them to earn and to also showcase their products.

Being a first of its kind in the district, the whole town of Noklak participated in the carnival. More than 100 plus people from all walks of life came to attend the carnival. The first and second day (10th & 11th December), hosted the night carnival from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.

The Miraculum Society Nagaland hosted the “Miraculum Carnival cum Thanksgiving Day” on December 12 at Creative Children ‘s Friendship Centre, Noklak. Vikuonuo Sachu, founder of the Miracumlum Society who is also the former Miss Nagaland mentioned, “Today it might seem to be like an ordinary day and a simple program but for me its success. Because to see my students coming up to the stage and performing and speaking right here, it’s a great achievement for me. This is exactly what I have dreamed of.”

Sachu also extended her gratitude and appreciation towards all the guest and the parents who have continuously supported the society and encouraged their children in pursuing to achieve their goals and aspirations.

During the program, the society acknowledged some groups of people, individuals and organisations in Noklak who have continuously supported the society and The Creative Children ‘s Friendship Centre Noklak ‘.

The District Administration of Noklak, 14 Assam Rifles, Longdon Baptist Church, khiamniungan Baptist Churches Association, All Ward sector Union Noklak town, High School B sector Noklak, Govt. Higher Secondary School Noklak, Adora Children’s Home Noklak, Lt. Mulai Lam (Head Maison), P Tsethong & Tangsoi P and Vekuyheyi Khusoh were some who were acknowledged.

The carnival concluded with a night concert, where many aspiring local artists of the District took the stage.
