Noklak DC issues monsoon advisory

In view of the monsoon season, the Noklak Deputy Commissioner has issued an advisory for citizens to take necessary precaution and stay informed about potential risk and safety measures.

  • Stay informed : Keep yourself updated about weather conditions and forecast.
  • Avoid flooded areas: During heavy rainfall avoid wading through floodwaters and be extra cautious when crossing bridges or moving near water bodies.
  • Be cautious while travelling : Exercise caution while travelling, especially on road that are prone to flooding or landslide. If encountering heavy rains and reduced visibility, consider postponing your journey until the weather improves.Download Nagaland Tribune app on Google Play
  • Stay away from power lines : Be aware of the presence of electrical power lines and avoid approaching them, especially in wet condition. Report any fallen or hanging power lines to the relevant authorities.
  • Look out for vulnerable individuals: Keep an eye on the elderly, children and people with special needs.
