The death is also an irreplaceable loss for Pang Village, Noklak. The deceased was a valuable member who actively contributed her service as women co-ordinator in the Pang Students’ Union. Lt. Supou could have been a great future leader of not just the students but whole the community, the villagers lament.

There are certain things that can be forgiven and forgotten, however acts such as this must be settled by the Law, a friend and former neighbour said while appealing for justice at the earliest.

The family also expressed its dissatisfaction and unhappiness towards Civil Hospital Dimapur for the delay in carrying out the post-mortem. Khumong claimed that the hospital insisted that the post-mortem can only be done in the day-time during its office hours. The elder brother questioned the policy because the delay in the process can lead to loss of evidence.
