A felicitation programme for the medal winners of the 2nd Nagaland Olympic Games from Noklak district was held at Noklak, Company Operated Base (COB) of Shamator Battalion under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (IGAR), North.

During the felicitation programme, Chauhan, Officer Commanding (OC) Noklak, praised the worthy performance of the athletes for bringing laurels to the newly formed Noklak district and said they motivate the youths.

Hard work is the only thing that brings success, he said and added that the athletes are the living example of it.

The OC also pointed out that despite the shortage of facilities and exposure, the athletes were still able to excel in their own events against all odds.

Through the felicitation programme, the Assam Rifles sought to inculcate the spirit of sports and hard work in the region. The programme was attended by parents and coaches of the medal winners.
