Noklak: Reproductive child health camp held at Wui, Choklangan

Kohima: A press release informed that Dr. Victor NC, CMO urged the villages to be more health conscious considering all vertical programmes and to avail the services provided free of cost at the door step.

District Health Society under Chief Medical Office, Noklak conmducted a Reproductive Child Health camp at Wui HWC (Thonoknyu block) and Choklangan HWC (Noklak).

A press release informed that Dr. Victor NC, CMO urged the villages to be more health conscious considering all vertical programmes and to avail the services provided free of cost at the doorstep.

He informed that priority is to be given to pregnant women and children under this programme.

During the camp, FGD, immunisation and family planning activity was held, where 12 women received IUCD.

A total of 176 OPD patients were treated during the camp.

The team was led by C Hosea DPM, along with the staff from CMO, DH Noklak and Wui and Choklangan HWC Noklak.
