In commemoration of its 10th Foundation Day, the All Commercial Vehicle Association (ACVA) Wokha district has notified that normal functioning of commercial vehicles and traffic within Wokha town is likely to be affected on May 17.  The celebration will be held at the conference Lotha Hoho Ki Wokha for

In a letter to the Deputy Commissioner & Chairman RTA Board Wokha, the ACVA updated on the various activities that will be held on May 17 which will affect the normal traffic in the town.

With the celebration demanding the participation of all commercial vehicle owners, drivers and ticket counters of Wokha district, the Association has directed all members of ACVA Wokha for strict compliance of the following arrangement:

-Entry of outstation commercial vehicles into Wokha town will be allowed till 9 a.m and services will resume after 3 p.m on May 17.

-It may kindly be noted that the above arrangement does not include vehicles from other districts passing through Wokha.

-Further, as part of the celebration ACVA has organized a car rally along Public Ground-Police Point-Essar fuel station Niropen and back, scheduled between 11 a.m to 1 p.m on the said day.

In this regard, the ACVA Wokha has appealled the DC for cooperation and necessary traffic arrangement for the proposed car rally.
