As part of the Shikshagraha movement, North East Shiksha Samvaad aims to create a collaborative platform for educators, government representatives, civil society organisations, and community leaders

to reflect on the evolving needs of education in the region and explore pathways for strengthening learning outcomes.

The North East Shiksha Samvaad will be convened at Tetso College, Chumoukidema, Nagaland on Marrch 27, bringing together key stakeholders from across the education ecosystem to engage in meaningful dialogue on the theme, “Reimagining Education in the Northeast for a Future-Ready Generation.”

The convening seeks to foreground the unique cultural, geographical, and socio-economic contexts of the Northeast while shaping conversations around future-ready learning.

Funded by HDFC Parivartan and supported by partners including Elevate Foundation, Mantra4Change, and ShikshaLokam, the event will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and interactive sessions. These conversations will highlight local innovations, address contextual challenges, and emphasise the

importance of equipping students with critical skills, adaptability, and confidence to navigate a rapidly changing world.

The convening will also serve as a space to amplify grassroots voices and showcase collaborative efforts already underway in the region, particularly in areas such as foundational learning, teacher capacity building, digital inclusion, and system strengthening.
