NPCC appreciates release of stipends to ITI students

Kohima: Rs 500 per month stipend allocated to each trainee at ITI

The Public Grievances Department of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has acknowledged the Department of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of Nagaland, for releasing stipends to ITI students.

These students include those who have completed their courses and those undergoing training at the Industrial Training Institutes in eight districts – Kohima, Dimapur, Wokha, Mokokchung, Tuensang, Mon, Phek, and Kiphire.

In a press release, PGD-NPCC Co-Chairman Er Meshelo Kath and PGD’s Secretary Wapangsenla appreciated the Department for the timely response in considering the welfare of the students.

The stipend allocated to each trainee is Rs 500 per month or Rs 6000 per year.
