During the march, participants lit candles and observed a moment of silence to honor the innocent victims and show support to the grieving families. The NPCC leaders, along with party workers, members of the public, and well-wishers, gathered in large numbers, calling for peace and justice.

The candlelight march also served the purpose of sending a strong message of condemnation against the dastardly act of cowardice and violence perpetrated by the terrorists, informed a press release from the Communications Department, NPCC.
