To commemorate the birthday of Member of Parliament and former Congress president, Rahul Gandhi, the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) on Thursday organized a special Blood Donation Camp at Congress Bhavan, Kohima. The event served as a platform for the people to come together in the spirit of service and donate blood — a precious gift of life, a press release from NPCC stated.

Lok Sabha MP and NPCC president S Supongmeren Jamir expressed his gratitude to all those who generously came forward to donate blood. He also extended heartfelt appreciation to the medical staff from Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) for their professional and dedicated service throughout the camp.

Later in the day, as part of the continued celebrations, MP Jamir, accompanied by his team of aides and party workers, visited the Kohima Orphanage. They spent time with the children, donated essential supplies, and shared words of encouragement.

Jamir exhorted the children to pursue their dreams with determination and assured them of continued support from the party.

Meanwhile, NPCC reaffirmed its commitment to social welfare and community service, in keeping with the ideals and values espoused by the party leader Rahul Gandhi.
