Former NPCC president K Therie too conveyed deepest sympathies of the family of the departed.
In his message, he described “elder brother” Late Hokheto Sumi as an honest man and a reliable leader “who never backtracked or changed his word.” Therie said that Late Hokheto Sumi’s selfless service to the people was evident in the people reposing their faith in him to represent them in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly for four terms.
Therie further acknowledged Late Sumi’s contribution to the Congress Party and stated that his contributions and sacrifices for the party will be remembered and cherished.
