The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has criticized the NDPP-BJP government for State ranking poorly in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) India Index 2023-2024, which was recently published by NITI Aayog.

“… yet again Nagaland is placed among the worst performing states in the country,” the Congress remarked, stating that it is “very worrisome” to see the state “languishing ay the bottom of the table”.

The NPCC alleged, in its press release, that the poor performance of State indicates “a massive vote of no confidence from the central government”, and “the utter failure of the corruption ridden NDPP-BJP government in the state”.

“The people of Nagaland deserve better, and the sooner the government of the day mends its ways, the better for the people, and for them as well, otherwise as they say, you can’t fool all the people all the time”, the Congress stated.
