The Nagaland Private Doctors Association (NPDA) has voiced strong criticism against the Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS) and Future Generali Insurance (FGI) for failing to honor the terms of their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Empaneled Health Care Providers (EHCPs). In a press release, the NPDA accused these entities of misleading the public and unjustly blaming doctors and healthcare institutions.

1. Suspension of Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) and CMHIS Services: Private hospitals will halt services under these schemes starting February 15, 2025 until all pending claims are settled.
2. Public Apology: The NHPS must issue an apology for damaging the reputation of EHCPS
3. Future Agreements: No new agreements concerning FHCPS will be signed without NPDA’s approval.
