Lanukaba, President, Farmer’s Wing, Central, also in-charge of Naga People’s Front Campaign, Mokokchung Division in a press conference today appealed to all the Nagas to conduct free and fair election based on “Clean Election Campaign”, an initiative of ABAM and taken up by NBCC, Naga Regional Forum and various other churches.
“We appeal for peaceful polling on the polling day of 14 NLA Election,” requesting all the political parties and the electorates to maintain peaceful polling,” he informed.
“We would also like to appeal all the Pastors and missionaries to not just come and pray and cast their votes but to also sacrifice their time on the polling day by staying back and helping the public cast their vote fairly,” said the President.

We also appeal to all the presiding officials to kindly maintain free and fair election on “Challenge Votes,” stating that Proxy voters will be inevitable,” he added.
He also stated that identification and confirmation of the voters are necessary and commented on the Election Commission of India’s approved alternative Photo Identity Documents,
With all the violence happening around in the state, the law enforcing agencies needs to be smart in all needed aspects to maintain peaceful atmosphere, stated the NPF leader.
The people will be now aware of the communal party and how the development in the state is implemented or stagnant, so, in this regard, the president appealed “If the people need a change, cast your vote for the change.”
He further informed that the NPF, Mokokchung Division has three young dynamic candidates to contest in the upcoming election namely Imjongwati, 29 Jangpetkong AC; Moasangba, 25 Mongoya AC; Major Toshikaba, 28 Koridang AC, stating these young dynamic leaders to do the needful for a better change.
Meanwhile, Tangit, General Secretary, Administration, NPF, Mokokchung Division added that the Party’s manifesto was made according to the needs of the Present related matters for the Nagas and lauded the Party’s young and dynamic leader, Kuzholuzo Azo Neinu under whose leadership, the Party is moving forward strong.
Tangit disagreed to the saying “the future belongs to the youth”. He maintained that he believes in “the present belongs to the youth,” and called upon to give them the chance to govern which he said would be achieved only when they are elected.
