NPP ideologies are exceptional: Party candidate for 24 Angetyongpang A/C

Mokokchung: The candidate appealed the electorates to come together and bring transformation to the constituency.

S.Maongkaba Ozukum, National People’s Party’s candidate for 24 Angetyongpang Assembly constituency said that the ideologies of the party were exceptional.

Speaking at his dedication cum declaration of candidature at Mongsenyimti in Mokokchung district, Ozukum stated that he made decisions to contest in the General Election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly election to uplift the constituency, so it is at par with the other advanced constituencies of the state.

The candidate said that his vision included better road connectivity, upliftment of womenfolk, widows, old age pension, youths and training skilled to unskilled youths.

In this regard, he appealed the electorates to come together and bring transformation to the constituency.

“We can build a better future by taking the first step to bring transformation. Take step carefully so that next generation are not hampered by our lapses” he appealed to the electorates.

President of NPP Nagaland, Dr Andrew Ahoto Sema appealed for spreading democratic culture in the right way. He also appreciated the village’s contribution in the Clean Election movement.

Sashimar, former candidate and Imnameren, NPP State Secretary IPR & media also spoke at the event.

It is to be mentioned that, following the Gauhati High Court Kohima order dated 10 February 2023, Riosanger Putu Menden/ Village Council and Mongsenyimti Senso Mungdang appeared before the Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung Court with written submission that they have accepted the verdict of the Honourable Court and the same is being followed in letter and spirit.

Both Riosanger Putu Menden/ Village  Council and Mongsenyimti Senso Mungdang have been directed by the Shashank Pratap Singh DC/ District Magistrate Mokokchung  to immediately refrain from open indulgence in politics by supporting or opposing any candidate failing which necessary action will be initiated as per law.

Further, they were directed that all efforts and endeavours must be made to ensure that a peaceful electioneering process is conducted in 24 Angetyongpang A/C, particularly in Mongsenyimti, the order stated.
