A ‘Financial literacy & Credit Consultancy’ program was organised by Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Ltd (NSCB) in collaboration with the SP office Phek on Thursday at the Police Baptist Church, Phek. The financial literacy campaign was primarily aimed for Phek Police, Phek Police Family Welfare team and self help groups of Phek town.
Speaking in the event, Superintendent of Police, Dr Pritpal Kaur, IPS stressed on the importance of savings and investments. She also shared on cyber crimes and frauds.

SBI Bank manager Khazi Graceson spoke on all the schemes of SBI Bank and loan systems while S. Kevi Hibo, Branch manager, NSCB Phek emphasised on the importance of opening bank accounts and credit consultancy.
Dr Imsunaro, Manager, NABARD, Phek spoke on significance of informed financial decision making. She gave insights on skills and livelihood training to women SHGs. The manager also mentioned about joint liability groups and their functioning.
Earlier the program on financial literacy was chaired by ASI Zavekho and vote of thanks was given by ABI Kevi, DEF PHEK. The invocation was pronounced by Veruyoyi, Pastor, PBC and benediction by Rukuzo, Youth leader PBC.
