The NSCN IM on Friday suspended its Deputy Kilonser who is in police custody for alleged involvement in the illegal arms and ammunition trafficking case.
“Dy. Kilonser Ngathingpam Shimrah is hereby placed under suspension for an indefinite period for violation of Party Disciple Article 4 (c) and Article 5(a)”, a press release from MIP, NSCN/GPRN stated.

Shimrah who is also known as Apam is from Wung Tangkhul Region (WT), NSCN IM informed.
While expressing its disappointment, the group also stated, “NSCN consider illegal arms and ammunition business as one of the highest crimes as per NSCN disciplinary code.”
NSCN IM had earlier today, in another press release, said that the accused would be served with “befitting punishment” if found guilty.
