The NSCN-IM will be resuming talks with the Government of India after the Monsoon Session of the Parliament, informed sources said on Tuesday.
The Chief of NSCN-IM Thuingaleng Muivah may also fly to the National capital to attend the talks.
The NSCN-IM led by its leader General (Retd) VS Atem held three rounds of talks in the month of June.

While, the issue of flag and constitution still remains as the core issues to conclude the ongoing talks, sources also informed that there are many loose ends which also needs to be resolved.
The NSCN-IM and GoI are yet to come to a meeting ground to bring a logical conclusion to the decades old Indo-Naga political issue.
Mention may be made that NSCN-IM have made their position clear that any solution to arrive at, should be on the basis of the 3 August 2015, Framework Agreement.
During the thanksgiving program held on 3 August 2023 to mark the 8th year anniversary of signing the Framework Agreement, the NSCN-IM Chairman Q Tuccu had hailed the historic FA as the “greatest achievement”, and asserted that FA is not only an indelible chapter in the Naga political history but also challenging task for Nagas to stand the ground till the logical conclusion is sealed.
Further, the Chairman has called to the people to keep waiting with renewed hope and pledge allegiance to the Framework Agreement.
