NSDMA conducts Geophysical Survey and Aerial Survey of Alahuto Landslide

The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home Department consisting of Geologist, Engineers and field staff conducted Geophysical Survey and Aerial Survey of Alahuto Landslide/Land sinking area, Zunheboto Town on July 30 to 31.

The Investigation was carried out using Resistivity Meter to collect data of the subsurface strata/soil & rock formations and ground water table of the said area, informed a press release by the NSDMA.

Drone aerial survey was also conducted to get the detailed information of structures and public utilities affected by the landslide.

The investigation was carried out with support from members of Ward Disaster Management Authority, Alahuto Colony, Zunheboto Town.
