27th United Football Club secured a narrow yet crucial 1-0 victory over Nagaland United Sports Club (NUSC) in a tightly contested match at IG Stadium Kohima on Match Day 12 of the Nagaland Super League (NSL).

Despite NUSC creating more attacking opportunities, 27 United FC’s defensive solidity and well-taken penalty made the difference.

Widambo (GK) (Jersey No. 40) from 27 United FC was declared Player of the Match on Saturday for his standout performance in goalkeeping. Widambo played a key role in keeping NUSC from finding an equalizer and ensured 27 United FC’s lead remained intact.
