Barak Football Club rode on Toka’s hat-trick to win over Frontier Warriors on Match Day 12 of the Nagaland Super League played at Chümoukedima Football Stadium on 8 March 2025.

A thrilling encounter saw Barak FC secure a 3-1 victory over Frontier Warriors as Toka stole the show with a hat-trick, including two well-taken penalties. Frontier Warriors put up a strong fight and dominated possession at times, but crucial mistakes and missed chances cost them dearly. Despite their resilience, they couldn’t find a way back after Toka sealed the game in the 84th minute.

Player of the Match Toka was clinical in front of goal, converting two penalties with composure and sealing his performance with a well-taken third goal. His movement and finishing proved to be the difference.

Barak FC played a disciplined game, absorbing pressure well and capitalizing on Frontier Warriors’ defensive errors. They were lethal in counter-attacks and managed to convert crucial chances, especially through Toka. Defensively, they stood strong despite FWFC’s relentless attacks.

FWFC had more possession and attacking intent, creating multiple chances, but their finishing let them down. Defensive errors led to two conceded penalties, which turned the game in Barak’s favor. Despite a composed penalty by Dangmei, they couldn’t break down Barak’s resolute defense in open play.
