The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for submission of online application form for University Grants Commission–National Eligibility Test (UGC – NET June 2024) as requested by several candidates.

The earlier date last date of online submission of application form was 15th May 2024 (Upto 11:59 pm) and NTA has now been extended this to 19th May 2024 (Upto 11:59 pm). Last date of submission of examination fee and correction in particulars have also been altered accordingly.

Candidates can make Corrections in the details submitted by them in their Application Forms Online through the Correction window at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in during the period when the correction/editing window is made live, the Agency informed.

NTA has also advised candidates to visit its official website for clarifications and latest updates on the examination.

UGC – NET June 2024 is the standardized test for determining eligibility for (i) ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, (ii) ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and (iii) ‘admission to Ph.D. only’ in Indian universities and colleges.
