The Nagaland Two Wheeler Taxi Association (NTWTA) has expressed its deep concern and strong condemnation regarding act of vandalism that took place on Saturday night where unknown miscreants entered the All Nagaland Taxi Association, Kohima Headquarter office for “yearly tax”.
NTWTA, in a press release, stated, “this act of mindless destruction not only reflects lack of regards for others property but also showcases a complete disregard for the value of our society.”
It added that ANTA Kohima HQ has been providing essential services to the community, facilitating safe and reliable transportation for the public under the leadership of Dziesevituo Solo, its president. Attack on a well-established and respected taxi office like ANTA office is particularly distressing, NTWTA said while extending its support and solidarity.
The Union requested law enforcement agencies to investigate the incident thoroughly and ensure that justice is served at the earliest.
