Salam Lamyanba Luwang, PhD Research Scholar from Nagaland University’s Dept of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, was awarded as the Best Agricultural Engineer. The award was conferred during FutureAg-2025, the 11th National Conference on “Advancing Food & Farming for sustainable future”, organized by Department of Agriculture, Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur (ICAR Accredited) in collaboration with Just Agriculture Communications Group & ISAHRD Society.

The Conference was held from September 9 to 10, 2025 at Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Salam Lamyanba Luwang works in the area of soil and water conservation engineering. His research is entitled “Assessing the impact and control of soil erosion in hilly terrain of Nagaland, India,” and he is being supervised by Prof Prabhakar Sharma, Department of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Nagaland University.
