The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) organized its 3rd Referee Clinical Camp for the tenure 2024-2028 today at Multi-Purpose Hall ‘B’, Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, Nagaland.
According to a press statement issued by NWA Joint Secretary, Kuzhovesa Soho, the camp was specifically aimed at providing new rules and system of Naga wrestling for the forthcoming 15th NWA Open & 1st Women Open Naga Wrestling Championship 2025 scheduled at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground) on March 28.
The camp was attended by Nagaland Wrestling Referee Board (NWRB) registered members led by its Convenor, Kezhalelie Keretsü with more than 15 members. Official representatives from 3 NWA affiliated units viz; Angami Sports Association (ASA), Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA) & Zeliang Wrestling Association (ZWA) along with 5 provisional affiliated units viz; Lotha Wrestling Association (LWA), Pochury Wrestling Association (PWA), Rengma Wrestling Association (RWA), Sumi Wrestling Association (SWA) and Chang Wrestling Association (CWA).
During the day long camp, technical system of referring, points awarding provissions along with fault and penalizations were imparted to all the campers both in practical and written form as well. Practical session was participate by the entire NWRB members.

Earlier, NWA Treasurer Keneilel Kevin Rote chaired the opening function, while Vekhriyi Chüzho, Technical Secretary, presented an overview of the rules in the written form and explanation as well.
NWA President Vivolie Kezo, offered the introductory and keynote address and urged the technical members to equip themselves with the latest trend of rules. Kezo expressed his happiness over the massive turn up of the members from newly formed provissional associations and extends its special invitation to be part of the 15 Open Naga wrestling championship 2025 with good number of wrestlers both Men & Women.
Upon the satisfaction camp being organized, Kezo further appealed the NWRB members to constantly kept intact with the functioning of the framed rules. The day concluded with a photo session and luncheon.
