NWA prepares for Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2026

The Nagaland Wushu Association (NWA) held an emergency general body meeting on March 17 at Olympic Association Office complex, Kohima to discuss matters related to the conduct of Wushu in the upcoming Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2026.

Officials from 9 District Wushu Associations attended the meeting. The meeting resolved to urge all affiliated units to participate actively in the upcoming Games and select the best athletes to represent the State in the Northeast Games 2026. It also resolved to conduct a technical session to equip technical personnel for the smooth conduct of the competition.

The Nagaland Wushu Association also inducted two new districts, namely Tseminyu DistrictWushu Association and Niuland District Wushu Association, into the Nagaland Wushu Association. Altogether, 14 District Associations have affiliated with the Nagaland Wushu Association.

The NWA has urged all district officials to identify athletes at a young age and groom them towards professionalism. The members present expressed profound gratitude and appreciation to Kudecho Khamo, President, Nagaland Wushu Association & Advisor, CAWD &Taxes, for his continued support and guidance.
