Official Logo of Red Run 3.0 released

The Red Run 3.0 event Logo and the opening of entries for general category participants were held at the Nagaland Olympic Association Office, Kohima on Thursday.

The event is being organized by the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) in collaboration with the Nagaland Olympics Association (NOA) and the Nagaland Athletics Association (NAA) and hosted by the Government of Nagaland and supported by the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India to raise public awareness on HIV prevention, stigma reduction, and community participation in the national response to HIV and STIs.

During a press conference, the official logo of Red Run 3.0 was release, QR code for registration in the Open (General) category was launched, and official jersey for Open Category runners was also launched, serving as a curtain raiser to the national event.

It was informed that the Red Run 3.0 is a flagship initiative aimed at raising awareness on HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), promoting healthy and active lifestyles, and engaging youth and communities in collective action for health and well-being.

It also highlighted that this year’s event is the Open (General) Category Run, covering 2 km, which is expected to see participation from around 700 runners. This includes representatives from schools, colleges, youth organisations, churches, government departments, local communities, NGOs, and other partners – making the event truly inclusive and participatory.

The office also informed that the Registration Details for General Category (2 km Run) is an online registration open for 200 participants only on a first-come, first-served basis, and to register, scan the QR code and complete the details in the online form provided. It also informed that registration will close automatically once the limit is reached, so interested participants are encouraged to register early.

In addition, the 10 km Competitive Category will feature state-level champions from 35 States and Union Territories, each represented by two boys and two girls. These young athletes will embody the spirit of sportsmanship, awareness, and commitment to ending stigma around HIV.

The release of the official logo of Red Run 3.0, Launch of the QR code for registration in the Open (General) Category – 2 km run, and Launch of the official jersey for Open Category runners was official launched by Project Director of NSACS, Dr. Abu Sekhose; Assistant Secretary General, Nagaland Olympics Association, Neivikuolie Khatsu; Joint Director (IEC), NSACS, Ate Sakhrie, and Honorary Treasurer, Nagaland Athletic Association, Neingulie Nakhro.
