The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) has announced the celebration of Olympic Day on June 23 at IG Stadium, Kohima, under the inspiring global theme: “Move, Learn, Discover – Together for a Better World.”
According to NOA, at the heart of the celebration is the Olympic Day Run— a fun, spirited track event designed especially for children aged 8 to 12 years, promoting the Olympic values of movement, learning, and discovery through sport and community.
With a total prize pool of over ₹1 lakh, the event is open to young runners across four age-based race categories:
Olympic Day Run – Race Categories
- 50 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2015 – 22/06/2016)
- 80 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2014 – 22/06/2015)
- 80 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2013 – 22/06/2014)
- 100 meters – Boys & Girls (Born between 22/06/2012 – 22/06/2013)
The celebration would be held at IG Stadium, Kohima. The reporting time is 8 a.m. Registration is open since May 31 and the last date to register is June 17.
Participants can register by scanning the QR code or visiting the NOA’s official social media handles.
