The department of Mathematics, Fazl Ali College Mokokchung, organized a one-day Inter-School Quiz Tournament on September 12, drawing participation from eight schools- Eden Academy, GHS Chuchuyimpang, Jubilee Memorial School, Lady Bird School, Model Higher Secondary School, Queen Mary Higher Secondary School, Straightway Higher Secondary School, and Town Higher Secondary School.

Each school was represented by two students from Classes 9 and 10, accompanied by their teacher-in-charge.

The quiz competition was conducted by head of the department of Mathematics Watitoshi Ao as the quiz master, and included rounds that challenged the students’ mathematical knowledge, quick thinking, and teamwork.

Queen Mary Higher Secondary School secured the first position, followed by Straightway Higher Secondary School in second place and Lady Bird School in third. The tournament provided a platform for young minds to engage, collaborate, and showcase their talents.
