One Sons is a group of 19 friends with a mission to shoulder the burden of the needy, the ailing and those struggling. It is a non-profit organisation that raises funds through its members engaging in manual labour, assisting in organising events, membership fee and donation from members.

On Christmas Day, the group visited the district hospital and district sub-jail in Peren town to appreciate employees who were on duty even then when most people are on holiday. The team also visited a few other homes with elderly citizens.

The group of young men distributed gloves, socks and mufflers. They had planned to do so since November.

On their visit, the group interacted with many individuals and spread the message of Christmas. “We wanted to wish them personally and also share the blessing of God on the special day as Christians,” the group shared.

The group said they had been friends since their Sunday school days and One Sons was officially formed in the year 2021.

The name One Sons was adopted to signify that although they were sons from different families, they had come together and formed a group with a common goal. The group was formed to represent that they were sons of society and they work to help members of society.
